About GNM Nursing

GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) is a 3-year diploma course designed to prepare general nurses who can function as members of the health team and are capable of performing competencies in dealing with people in hospitals and community health settings.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 examination with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council
  • Registered ANM with pass mark
  • Minimum age of 17 years and maximum 35 years
  • Medically fit
