Established in 2012 by upgrading a School of Nursing, the college is part of the Velankanni Matha Hospitals (PVT.) Ltd Company. It aims to provide high-quality nursing education with a strong theoretical base and diverse clinical experience. It is situated on a picturesque campus with modern infrastructure including well-equipped laboratories and a modern library. Clinical training is provided at its parent hospitals: Matha Hospital (a multi-specialty hospital) and Mitera Hospital (specialized for Mother & Child).
