About the College
Smt. Sindhutai E.V. Vikhe Patil College of Nursing is the nursing-education wing of Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), located at Loni (Bk), Ahmednagar. The college aims to train competent professional nurses through a combination of rigorous academic curriculum and extensive clinical exposure via the large multi-specialty hospital on campus, plus outreach to rural and community health settings.
The college building and its infrastructure are up to the norms laid out by regulatory nursing bodies, and students have access to lecture halls, labs (fundamental nursing, community health, MCH, nutrition, etc.), library, skill-labs, hostels, and such. Clinical training is carried out at the on-campus 1275-bed hospital and associated primary/rural health centers (for community health rotation).
