About the College
- RIPANS is a central‑government autonomous institute under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), set up originally by the North Eastern Council (NEC) in 1995–96 to provide paramedical, pharmacy and nursing education for the North‑Eastern region.
- The institute offers a wide array of courses — nursing, pharmacy, medical laboratory technology, radiography & imaging, optometry, among others — under one roof.
- The campus occupies a hillside area at Zemabawk (on a 39.6 bigha land), offering a scenic, spacious environment with scope for growth and infrastructure development.
