About the College
Leyamma Memorial College of Nursing is a leading institution dedicated to nursing education. It was established in memory of Late Ms. Leyamma, sister of Late Sri. P.C. George, the Founder of Mundakapadam Mandirams Society. The institution initially ran an ANM program until 1968, upgraded to General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) in 1969, and has been upgraded to conduct the B.Sc. Nursing program from the academic year 2022-2023. It is situated within the campus of Mundakapadam Mandiram Hospital, a multi-specialty, NABH-accredited charitable mission hospital, which serves as the parent hospital for clinical training. The college is committed to providing quality, competency-based education focused on clinical judgment and compassionate care
