Jan Swasthya Sahyog School of Nursing
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh | Est. 1996
About the College
Jan Swasthya Sahyog (JSS) started as a rural health‑care initiative: their main aim was to provide low‑cost, community‑based medical care to underserved rural and tribal populations.
Over time, to support their mission and create skilled nursing staff suited for rural needs, they established the School of Nursing at their Ganiyari centre — offering nursing education to train nurses who can work in rural/primary‑care settings.
The training emphasizes not just hospital/clinical care, but also community health, maternal & newborn care, and service in low-resource, rural contexts — in line with JSS’s broader public‑health mission.
