Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi — under the umbrella of Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) / associated trust — is a specialized cancer‑hospital providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and supportive care for cancer patients.
Alongside offering cancer treatment (radiation oncology, nuclear medicine, hematolymphoid care, bone marrow transplant, diagnostics, etc.) the hospital also offers education/training in oncology nursing via a formal nursing‑education programme (post‑basic nursing).
The institution is part of a broader effort to improve cancer care and build skilled oncology manpower in a region with high demand: the “cancer belt” covering large parts of Uttar Pradesh and nearby states.
