HIMCAPES College of Nursing is run by the H.P. State Co-operative Advancement of Professional Education Society (HIMCAPES). 

• The nursing institute began as a School of Nursing in 2009.  
• It was upgraded to a College of Nursing in 2016.  
• The campus is spread over a 70-kanal hilltop site in Badhera, offering a calm, scenic environment.  
• It has strong clinical exposure: ties with government hospitals, private multi-specialty hospitals, and community health centres for student training.  
• The teaching faculty is described as “hard working, dedicated, and versatile.”
