About the College
The Down Town School Of Nursing (later integrated with the university's Faculty of Nursing) was established as the first private nursing school in North East India in 1993. It is part of the educational initiatives promoted by the Down Town Charity Trust, which also established the Assam Down Town University (ADTU) in 2010. The school/institute focuses on preparing students for the nursing profession with an emphasis on comprehensive care.
