Carmel College of Nursing is a prestigious institution that evolved from the Carmel School of Nursing. It was upgraded to a college in 2011. It is a sister concern of the Carmel Hospital, which serves as its parent hospital and was established in 1968. The college is managed by the CMC Sisters (Vimala Province, Ernakulam), based on the missionary spirit of Blessed Chavara Kuriakose Elias. The college aims to prepare well-qualified, skilled, and compassionate nursing professionals. It provides hands-on training and extensive clinical exposure at its 200-bed multi-specialty parent hospital.
