About the College
The Army Institute of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati, was established under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). The institute's primary mission is to provide professional education in nursing sciences, mainly to female dependents of serving and ex-servicemen of the Indian Army and other Defence forces. A limited number of seats are also reserved for civilian girl students domiciled in the North Eastern States.
